Bhoomika is registered as an Indian non-profit development organization on the 7th day of January 1997 with the Inspector General of Registration, Government of Orissa (India) under the Society Registration Act 1860 . It was subsequently registered with the Ministry of Home affairs, Government of India under Foreign Contribution Receipt Act. Bhoomika is led from the front by its founder Bhisma Rath along with several other development professionals.
